In an effort to amplify the work being done on the streets every single day by dedicated changemakers standing up for justice and speaking out against those in power who are attacking our friends and neighbors, we’re going to start posting a “Resistance Calendar” to our website on Thursdays.
Here are some of the events, actions, and protests happening in Colorado over the next seven days.
Friday, 3/14:
What: Veterans March
When: Fri., March 14 at noon
Where: Colorado State Capitol
Why: This is a nationwide protest in all 50 state capitols. Veterans joining the march intend to peacefully protest the Trump administration’s proposed cuts to Social Security, federal job losses for veterans, the pardon of January 6 rioters, and reductions in veterans’ healthcare services. 3.14 (the date) represents Section 3 of the 14th Amendment – the Constitution demands that those who engage in insurrection be barred from office. Also a “National Strike Day.”
Saturday, 3/15:
What: Tesla Takedown
Who is organizing: Grassroots via Tesla Takedown
When: Sat., March 15 11 a.m. – 1 p.m.
Where: Tesla Dealership 5700 S. Broadway, Littleton
Why: Organizers say, “We are taking action at Tesla. Sell your Teslas, dump or short their stock, join the picket lines. Hurting Tesla is stopping Musk. Stopping Musk will help save lives and our democracy. The stakes couldn’t be higher. No one is coming to save us—not politicians, not the media.”
Saturday, 3/15:
What: Tesla Protest
Who is organizing: Grassroots via Indivisible
When: Sat., March 15 noon – 2 p.m.
Where: Tesla Dealership McCaslin Blvd & Marshall Rd, Superior
Why: Organizers say, “Come join us on Saturdays in Superior, CO from 12 to 2 on the public sidewalk near the Tesla Dealership. We’ve been getting more honks than fingers! We’ll have music and high spirits!”
Recurring protest every Saturday.
Saturday, 3/15:
What: Uphold, Limit, Protect: An anti-Trump nationwide protest
Who is organizing: 50501 Movement

Ongoing Petitions:
What: Petitions to free Mahmoud Khalil
CAIR Action launched an Action Alert Form to make it easy for folks to contact their representative to demand support for Mahmoud Khalil: bit.ly/supportmahmoud
Why: Immigration agents with the Department of Homeland Security have detained Mahmoud Khalil, a leader of the Gaza solidarity encampment at Columbia University in New York. Khalil is an Algerian citizen of Palestinian descent, a green card holder and married to a U.S. citizen. His wife is eight months pregnant. Trump’s White House Press Secretary said that Khalil’s green card will be revoked and he will face deportation now for breaking the law, but for being “adversarial to the foreign policy of the United States.” Activists say the Trump administration is trying to make an example out of Khalil, to prevent others from using their free speech rights to speak out against the federal government’s decisions. These petitions let your House and Senate Reps, as well as other government officials, know you find this decision unjust and illegal and to demand their support in protecting him from deportation.
What: Urge Congress to Protect Public Media Funding
Link(s): https://protectmypublicmedia.org/urge-congress-email/
Why: Organizers say, “Urge Congress to protect and sustain the essential funding that keeps public media accessible and strong. Send a message to your lawmakers now.”
